I got Sime's height and weight info from his enlistment records. They differ from SABR's stats (Height: 5-11 Weight: 169).
The 1910 census shows Sime's mother's name as "Dortha J.". The 1920 and 1930 census has a "Julia" as the lady of the house. Julia and Dortha are both listed as the same age, both were born in Norway, and both came over in 1874. I'm assuming that they are the same lady, but I don't know that as a fact. There's a possibility that Julia is a step-mother.
There's an article concerning a semi-pro team out of Forest City, IA that mentions that Sime was a member during the 30's, but it is not clear exactly which year(s). I would assume the 1934 season, But I don't have any specific date in my sources.
