There's 750 players on active rosters and 1,200 on 40-man at any given time. Is it realistic to change the team line every time there's a trade or a free agency? What would Sandy Alomar's page (i.e.) have all year? New Orleans or New York? --Jeff 23:16, 28 August 2007 (EDT)

I would still vote against this. This information should be in the text, as part of a recap of his career. There it can be added to still be accurate, not needing to be changed so that "current" remains accurate. If the text says "began 2007 with..", it would be true even after a trade. --Jeff 11:30, 29 August 2007 (EDT)
