Is it just me or did it seem like Mr. Freeman here figured out how to pitch at Coors and the Rockie brass found it unnecessary to sign him? 1994 wasn't a fluke because is 1995 he was 3-1 at home with the rest of the losses coming on the road.
[He never was a good enough pitcher to make up for his bad attitude - Ed.]
Something people forget about the Rockies is that they never have had trouble winning at home. Where they've usually failed was when they tried to transfer those results on the road. Thus, it is unremarkable that one of their pitchers would have a better win-loss record in Colorado and doesn't mean that "he's figured out how to picth at Coors". --Philippe 14:29, 24 April 2008 (EDT)
His home ERA in 1994 was only 2.90 - in only 49.3 innings. But the point you make is correct. Teams build for their home park instead of just building a solid team, then have problems in other parks. --Jeff 14:34, 24 April 2008 (EDT)
