The Baseball Almanac lists Mark in Norfolk and Mike in Columbus in '98 and this seemed to be supported by material I found on the web about how Mark went to Japan when the Mets didn't give him a chance. Doyle has them reversed but I don't think this is correct. - --Mischa 19:24, 30 July 2006 (EDT)

Right - Mark was with Norfolk, so it was the Mets not bringing him up. That's what I changed the article to. --Just me 19:28, 30 July 2006 (EDT)

You got it right. The Orix Blue Wave paid the Mets for $250,000.00 for Mark Mimbs to pitch for them the remaining 98 season.
