I remember seeing Luis Tiant pitch in Cleveland during the 1968 season. He has been somewhat overshadowed by the other "Year of the Pitcher" players such as Bob Gibson and Denny McLain. His ERA of 1.60 was still incredible. Even in 1968 Luis had an incredible assortment of pitches and motions, including a very good fastball. What a joy to watch pitch and win!
