Talk:Lance Ward

From BR Bullpen

Jump to: navigation, search

I was hoping somebody could fill in a little info on lance ward and rex gonzalez. I was bat boy for the baysharks in 95 and i got to know these guys very well. However, i lost all my memorablia (programs, media guides, baseball cards, etc) in one of my many moves. I've tried ebay and searching the internet for info or progams, but i keep striking out. I've got memories, but no sources or details. I'll probably start adding some of my memories. Other notable 1994-1995 BaySharks: Butch Hobson, Jamie Nelson, Terrell Buckley, Kelly Mann, Doug Simons, Don Carman, Mike Porzio, Ed Jurak, Kinnis Pledger, Tommy Parks... Rick Peterson is a friend of Hobson's and was a "guest" pitching coach in 95.

Anything you can add would be great. Good look with your memorabilia search. There are over 17,000 "wanted pages", almost 3,000 stubs and lots of incomplete player pages, so it might be a while until some of these are filled in. I'm trying to expand some of your contributions (ex. Andre Keene) but all the contributors here have their own areas of interest too, so some of your wish list might not get tackled for weeks, months or years. But just putting in the base stub page increases the chances of somebody getting to it, I think.

The Bullpen is about a year and a half old and I think we've come a considerable way but it might well take a decade or more until we have fairly complete bios of every MLB, NPB and Negro League player, let alone getting to many minor leaguers. - --Mischa 11:16, 12 December 2006 (EST)

I wasn't sure ow old the Bullpen was, I ve been coming to baseball-reference regularly for about three years, i just started coming to the bullpen about 3 months ago. I've been spending the last week trying to fill in some of the red links on independent and other minor league pages. I should have time to do a bunch more over the next couple days. I love this stuff! --jgperro
