In addition, Ken played for Phoenix in the Arizona-Mexico League in 1954 (setting league record with 193 runs scored), Lincohn in the Western Association (finishing second to Maury Wills in stolen bases 33 to 34) and Columbus in the International League in 1957 (found game program at E-Bay for game between Columbus Jets and parent Pittsburgh Pirates).
Ken also played a number of years in the PCL for the Pirates farm system. He played for Hawaii Islanders in 1961 and 1962. Prior to playing with the Islanders, he played for Dallas-Ft. Worth in American Association in 1961 (traded for Ray "Jabbo" Jablonski at mid-season).
