Um, Spenser wasn't on the US roster for the 1996 Olympics. See 1996 Olympics (Rosters) - --Mischa 15:53, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

He's listed on these sites [1] as winning a bronze in Atlanta. I'm wondering if he was on the team but injured. Would someone still show up on the roster if that were the case? Kinston eagle 16:08, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

I just looked through the Google News articles. He was on Team USA in 1995 and at least through January of '96. I don't see any mention of Olympic play. I'm thinking he was already injured. I'll rerword the paragraph. Kinston eagle 16:14, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

Most of those articles seem duplicates of one another. I haven't seen him on any non-internet source as being on the '96 team. The USA didn't play in any major tourneys in 1995 (they missed the Intercontinental Cup, the big event that year) so he doesn't get the USA National Team Player category even. - --Mischa 16:32, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

There are three articles on this list [2] that have him playing for Team USA in '95. 69.68.238.142 16:57, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

There are no similar examples for '96 [3]. It seems that he was already injured. 69.68.238.142 17:00, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

He's not listed on any of the All-Americans we have here. I'm removing the claim. - --Mischa 14:17, 8 June 2008 (EDT)

The main source for this claim was his baseball card which can be seen here: [4] but I also found this quote: "Right-handed pitcher Kaipo Spenser (St. Anthony '93) of Arizona State University was named a first-team pre-season All American by Baseball America newspaper. He is a candidate for the U.S. Olympic team." on this very long page: [5]. Kinston eagle 21:18, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
