Julio Becquer After Retiring From The Twins After retiring from the Twins in 1963, Julio Becquer went on to work at Dayton's Department Store. I met him in 1983 when he was a salesmanager in the men's suit department. I was his boss and he was a please to work with. He was one of the most enthusiastic people in the store. He loeved both his customers and his staff. He always considered himself a Twin. I remember him introducing me to Tony Oliva and other Twins and ex-Twins were his customers. He appeared recently (May 2011) at a press conference after the death of Harmon Killebrew.
