I see where Joe Hague passed away in 1994. He was my hero when he played 1B for the SL Cards in the early 70's. Does anyone know how he died? Please advise. Thanks!! Mike/KY E-Mail mfields0031@charter.net

I am 48 years old...........my dad took me to a tavern in Granite City, IL one night that Steve Carlton spoke to the crowd. I thought I was the only man that remembered Joe Hague. he was a graceful hitter with a beautiful swing who took the time to make me feel important as a ten year kid. It pains me as well to know that he is no longer with us.
