If the only support for that statement is: "In 1913, he finished third in most allowed hits per game and most batters hit", then he might be the third worst....in 1913. That kind of opinion should be removed. --Just me 23:40, 18 October 2006 (EDT)

I'm somewhat a fan of Veeck's so I would agree he was a "promotional mastermind", but Branch Rickey was too? I'm not aware of his promotional work (outside of signing black players which he knew would gain the Dodgers a huge new following). --Just me 14:11, 19 October 2006 (EDT)
