The Italian Baseball Hall of Fame site says he went to a "University of Atlanta". I can't find this institution? Do they mean some other school in Atlanta maybe? Or was there a black university by this name that closed after integration? - --Mischa 11:57, 27 November 2007 (EST)

There was an Atlanta University, but it was a graduate school and merged with Clark Atlanta University. - Randy 22:27, 27 November 2007 (EST)

Given his age before he came to Italy, it's highly possible he went to graduate school before joining the Army. That Atlanta University was a black institution increases the chance that's the right one. I'm leaving it blank for now until we can confirm. - --Mischa 09:08, 28 November 2007 (EST)
