His obit in the 9/19/51 TSN lists the 1903 birthdate also. It was common for the "playing birthdate' to be listed at that point though. The interesting thing is that the birthplace is listed as Perryville, Ind, not Perryville, MD. --Jeff 01:20, 12 November 2008 (EST)
