I have a copy of a National Association of Proffessional Baseball Leagues contract that was signed by James B. Johnson dated June 15, 1967 at 8:52am. He signed with The Medford Base Ball Club a member of the Northwest League (SanFrancisco Giants Baseball). Attached is an incentive bonus plan document signed by James B.Johnson as well as Ray W. Lucas and John S. Schwarz, agt. that incents him to be retained by a Class AA, or AAA, or a Major League club. Contract Regulations are signed (by stamp) by Phillip Piton. I was glad to see this web page on his history, however am interested in knowing the details of his early death.
