Is that the same Tommy Thompson? The Tommy Thompson (manager) was born in 1957 and went to college, so he presumably started playing pro ball ~1978. His page says he played for "over a decade", so he wasn't managing until ~1988. --Just me 09:59, 24 December 2006 (EST)

There was also a Tommy Thompson with the San Jose Expos in 1982 and the West Palm Beach Expos in 1983-1984. That should be the same one as this one, but is it the same one listed at MWLGuige.com? --Just me 10:08, 24 December 2006 (EST)

Aha, there has to be two of them. There was a Tommy Thompson managing Utica in 1990 and one managing the Tulsa Drillers in 1990. --Just me 10:11, 24 December 2006 (EST)
