Most admired is rather subjective. - --Mischa 14:33, 7 February 2007 (EST)

Superlatives can be a slippery-slope, especially in this type of format. We are an encyclopedia after all. --Jeff 16:03, 7 February 2007 (EST)

I put that in about most-admired because recently on www.texasrangers.com there was a poll, which asked fans to vote on who should be the next person inducted into the Ranger team Hall of Fame. Gonzalez came in third, beat out by Pudge, who came in first, and Julio Franco, who came in second. That's why I say Pudge is one of the most-admired players in Ranger history. - David -- 07:44 CST, 8 Feb. 2007

It's better to refer to the poll itself than to make blanket statements derived from the poll IMO. --Jeff 11:13, 8 February 2007 (EST)

Is he really "certainly one of the greatest defensive catchers of all-time" or is he the greatest throwing catcher of all time? --Jeff 11:11, 12 January 2008 (EST)

I think mention should be made of his caught stealing % and Gold Gloves and remove subjective judgements. - --Mischa 19:36, 12 January 2008 (EST)
