Everybody lists his date of death as January '08 but Sporting Life reported his death in its Jan. 23, 1909 issue, saying he had just been sold by Indianapolis to Johnstown. - Randy 23:32, 15 August 2011 (EDT)

Peter Morris got back to me. The page in question is from the January 1909 issue, but includes a chronology of events in 1908. Krug's death is correctly listed under January 14, 1908. See here: [1]. --Philippe 17:39, 17 August 2011 (EDT)
