Talk:Henry Cruz
From BR Bullpen
I dispute the content that was previously here:
"Henry Cruz is possibly the mystery outfielder mentioned in Kevin Kennedy's book Twice Around The Bases. Kennedy alludes to a player who hit over .350 one year at Albuquerque and then was released because of behavioral problems at the end of the season."
Looking at the Kennedy book, he talks about a first baseman (not an outfielder) who led the league in hitting and was briefly his roommate. That was one Don Cardoza, who hit .355 for Albuquerque in 1977 and was traded to the Rochester Red Wings team, for whom Kennedy also played in 1978.
