Is "dominated" too strong a word to describe Stone's 1906 season? He had a great year, but I don't know if I'd use "dominated". -Chisoxfan 23:27, 17 November 2007 (EST)

He would've been the AL MVP according to Win Shares, but not by much --Jeff 23:33, 17 November 2007 (EST)

He led the league in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, Total Bases, Runs Created, and Adjusted OPS+. His Adjusted OPS+ of 192 was far above the second and third in the league, Lajoie at 169 and Flick at 155. It was the dead-ball era, and his .358 batting average was over 100 points above the league average of .249, while his slugging percentage of .501 was almost 200 points above the league slugging average of .318. In fact, there were only 8 players in the entire league whose slugging was over .400. - Randy 23:35, 17 November 2007 (EST)
