Tonight (28 Aug 05) on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball, Joe Morgan mentioned that another of George Scott's nickname was "Long Tater". That's beautiful.

The Boomer was the coach of the Massachusetts Mad Dogs from 1996 to 1999. THe Mad Dogs palyed in the independant North Atlantic, Northeast, and Northern Leagues. The Mad Dogs home feild was Frasier Field in Lynn MA.
