Having grown up as a little boy and teenager next door to George and his wife Teela, I can attest to some remarkable stories of what life must have been like as a baseball player in his era. In a word...rough!

While his professional career was brief and rather unimpressive, he was none the less proud of his making it to the big time. Most of his career was with the Trenton Senators minor league team.

It was George that instilled in me, at an early age of Little League, the ability to play at an All-Star and MVP level through High School. I am forever grateful to George for his lessons on game strategy. God Bless him and his wife!
