I snipped this bit:

"Gentry was one of three 1998 nominees to The Cuban Hall of Fame, and in October of 1999, he was posthumously honored as one of 27 Negro Baseball League players for distinguishing himself by being elected to appear in 5 East-West All-Star Games from 1944 through 1948."

1) He is not listed in the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame part of this site - is that omission or was he not admitted there?

2) The second is unclear. One of 27 to appear in five games from 1944-48 or one of 27 to appear in five East-West games at any time or one of 27 to be honored from the Negro Leagues in general. Can someone find this out?
