Desautels did not coach in the majors (as per the 2000 edition of Total Baseball). Did he coach in the minors? - --Mischa 21:04, 12 June 2011 (EDT)

Born 13 Jun 1907 in Worcester MA Died 5 Nov 1994 at the Hurley Medical Center in Flint MI Interred New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint MI. Debut Date 22 Jun 1930. Catcher 13 Years.

Served in the U S Marine Corps during World War II. He managed minor league baseball and was a coach and scout before going to work for the Mott Foundation. He retired in 1972 as a counselor for Southwestern High School in Flint.
