The database I have of rosters from 1900-1910 calls him William H Thompson. --Jeff 12:19, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

The Encyclopedia lists him as Fresco and also the sight the Bullpen is linked to has him as Fresco. If you think your data is correct I will be glad to change it. Let me know or just correct it.--Dugout 13:35, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

Its more than likely that Fresco in William's nickname. I was just throwing out information I had. I actually don't remember where my database came from, so I wouldn't give it 100% credibility, but it can absolutley be used to get a clearer picture of the turn of the century ballplayers. --Jeff 14:18, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

SABR lists him as William H Thompson also, but only in 1910 and 1911. Then again, they don't have the roster for 1912 --Jeff 13:54, 11 July 2008 (EDT)
