This site indicates that Alvarez has two Cuban records but I can't figure it out and they're not listed in my other sources (Bjarkman's book and a Cuban baseball guide). Babelfish translates them as "He knew to twice? collection two homeruns to beat. In 1991, and 2001. once he brought with that seven points concerning the thuisplaat. And also that is still a record."

Rechecking the Cuban baseball guide, I found the 1991/2001 record as "Jonrones Conectados en una entrada" but Babelfish doesn't solve this one for me either. THe second record comes up as "mas carreras impulsadas en una entrada" but again babelfish is no match for Spanish.

I don't guarantee it 100% (I don't speak Dutch), but, if I make it out correctly, I think the two records are: twice hitting two home runs in one inning (in 1991 and 2001) and collecting 7 RBI in an inning. --Philippe 14:30, 9 July 2007 (EDT)
