Johnson & Wolff list Mack as the manager of both Martinsburg and Moline in 1922. Not sure what's going on there. --Jeff 00:40, 31 August 2007 (EDT)

Couldn't find anything on paperofrecord, except that Mack had Moline training in the south before all the other III teams. [1] So I assume he was with Moline at least. Maybe he switched mid-season? --Jeff 12:08, 25 January 2008 (EST)

Moline put him on the reserve list after the season [2] so I assume he finished the year there. Martinsburg doesn't show up in TSN at all in 1922, but they hadn't named a manager for 1923 by March 8 [3] , which would indicate a new manager. --Jeff 22:23, 24 April 2008 (EDT)

A source on the web about Earle Mack's minor league days makes it sounds like he was in Moline all of 1922 and in Martinsburg in 1923. www.blueridgeleague.org/pdf/EarleMack.pdf . - Randy 22:54, 24 April 2008 (EDT)

Thank you. That same website lists the 1922 managers [4] Burt Shipley and Dave Black were in Martinsburg. --Jeff 23:21, 24 April 2008 (EDT)
