Re: the second joke: when Reggie Jackson signed as a free agent with the Yankees in 1977, he said that now he would be so famous someone would name a candy bar after him (just like the Baby Ruth bar). After Jackson was the hero of the 1977 World Series, a company did indeed make a "Reggie" candy bar, sold nationally for a while. The joke is that candy bars named after those other players would have rather unappetizing names. --Philippe 10:30, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
