Randy, I removed your reference to excellent range factors because they weren't. The 2.29 listed as league-average on the BR site refers to all outfielders. In that context, a 2.61 for a center fielder really isn't that impressive. Range factors are a tricky thing even under the best of circumstances. Richie Ashburn has 6 of the top 10 all time PO marks for outfielders. While he was an excellent outfielder, this says as much about Robin Roberts as it does about Ashburn. Lots of assists for infielders could just mean groundball pitchers etc. --Just me 14:17, 22 August 2006 (EDT)
