Bold textItalic text As a young junior high student, I had the opportunity to first meet Dick Hyde after the last game of the season at Griffith Stadium. He wanted directions out of Washington. My friend and I showed him and he was nice enough to drive us home. What a thrill to meet a baseball player. During the years at Washington, he always had time to talk to us before baseball games. After he was traded to Baltimore and I joined the Air Force, I lost track of him. I still check him out on the internet/ebay. I found a baseball card of him on ebay. Richard /
