Although he retired from professional baseball several years ago, Derek Aucoin is continuing his baseball career in a significant way. He serves baseball players of all ages at a unique baseball facility in the upper west side of Manhattan. His 6 foot 7 inch frame is imposing, yet 3 and 4 year old kids adore him. Along with his efforts at The Baseball Center, he has also teamed up with Derek Jeter's Turn 2 Foundation and works hard each year for kids all over New York. Best of all, Derek has a fantastic knowledge of baseball. My son blossomed under his coaching and today is a starting high school catcher at the IMG Academies in Florida.
