Is this team notable? If so, what category? Same as the Bismarck Churchills?

I thought we weren't doing semi-pro teams. --Jeff 15:53, 25 July 2008 (EDT)

In the Negro minor leagues, the line is a bit blurry between what was a professional and what was a semi-pro team. Mischa's suggestion works, though. --Philippe 00:18, 26 July 2008 (EDT)

I'll be the first to admit my knowledge of the Negro Leagues is lacking. So whatever the more knowledgeable bullpeners decide is fine with me. --Jeff 00:26, 26 July 2008 (EDT)

I also think some semipro teams might be notable if they had some high-profile players. Heck, we have pages for many European teams and most if not all leagues there are semi-pro. - --Mischa 11:44, 27 July 2008 (EDT)

The Claybrook Tigers did operate in the Negro Southern League for a time, which was considered a Negro Minor League, making them a "pro" team. The only reason they are considered "semi-pro" is because of their lack of league activity, although they were more "pro" than many Negro Teams that are considered "pro".

They can be included in the "Negro League" category and the "Miscellaneous Teams" category, if seems fit.

Hope that clears this page up.
