According to The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League Record Book, her name is Charlene "Shorty" Pryer (Mayer). I'm assuming Mayer is a married name, so her father would be Pryer... doesn't list a first name for him, though. -Chisoxfan 13:45, 30 April 2008 (EDT)

Doyle's DB lists only one Pryer in the minors from 1922-2004; Willard in 1941, so I guess Charlene's father was pre-1922. - --Mischa 19:37, 30 April 2008 (EDT)
