Bold textToday (7/30) is the 115 th anniversary of Casey Stengel's birth. I believe because of his link between John Mc Graw and Wilbert Robinson which bridges to the likes of Mantle,Billy Martin,Yogi Berra and others makes him one of the most important personalities in baseball history. I'm 54 years old, I would be interested in what folks 30 or younger know or think about Stengel's mark on the game i am twelve, and i love basebaall history, i like ty cobb, casey, in my opinion was definitly one of the greatest managers (and characters) of all time. He was a player before he managed. (as i listed on the article page) he was a decent player, and a good manager, the yankees history would be quite different without him.
