I saw Buzz Clarkson play for the Dallas Eagles in the Texas League in 1953. The thing I remember best about him was his pre-at bat routine. He would stride up to the batter's box, dig in, lift his bat dramatically, and give the plate a mighty thump. That meant Buzz was ready to hit. Glen Waggoner Glen.Waggoner@espn3.com
