Talk:Boston Red Sox
From BR Bullpen
Is Carney Lansford memorable as a Red Sox player? Rich Gedman? Maybe we should trim this list. - --Mischa 19:50, 4 Mar 2006 (EST)
There should also be an attempt to put it in some sort of order - alphabetical, chronological, or by position. Right now it's a shambles.--Philippe 10:20, 5 Mar 2006 (EST)
I edited the list based on who's in the Red Sox Hall of Fame (a pretty good yardstick, in my estimation) and added a handful of currently active players (Martinez, Nomar, etc.) who are no-brainers. -Chisoxfan 00:06, 6 Mar 2006 (EST)
I removed Eddie Collins from the list, since he never played a game for the Red Sox; he is in the Red Sox HOF as an executive. --Roger 13:24, 6 Mar 2006 (EST)
I wouldn't say neither Lansford and Gedman are memorable Red Sox players. Granted, Lansford had a good stint with Boston, but he only played 2 years there simply holding the spot for Hall of Famer Wade Boggs. Gedman had a few good years with Boston, but wasn't a memorable player either. Jbroks86
