Alexander Barnie, Sr., died Wednesday at his residence, 481 Marcy Avenue, Brooklyn, at the age of eighty-seven years. He was well known among the old-time builders of Brooklyn. His son, William Barnie, is manager of the Brooklyn Baseball Club. Mr. Barnie built the old Washington Building opposite the City Hall, now considered one of the landmarks of the city. Funeral services will be held at the house this afternoon.
