[edit] A question about using your own material from another site.

In my re-write of the article, a portion of the “Baseball Cards as Collectibles” section is taken (almost verbatim) from an article on my own web site. I know it's considered bad form to cite yourself, so I didn't include the original page in the SOURCES section. But how do I make it clear that the copying is authorized, in case someone ever noticed it in the future? --Ted 14:35, 11 October 2008 (EDT)

I think you're statement here has already established that the material is being used with the permission of the author. I don't see any problem with re-using stuff you have already written. Why re-invent the wheel? Good job on the page. Kinston eagle 16:31, 11 October 2008 (EDT)

I would say cite the original sources from the original article. --Jeff 17:33, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
