Are you kidding me? Please tell me what players he was putting into games to lose. No players on his team threw any games(or else they would be banned as well) and they are all major leaguers so please explain how Mr. Rose put people in the game to lose. He bet on his squads to win which doesn't make it better, but thats what he did. Pete Rose never wanted to lose at anything and that is still true to this day. Put him in the Hall and let's get on with our lives.

First of all, Pete Rose was player-manager, and broke the record while being such. Second, there is no evidence to suggest that he actually bet against his team and intentionally blew games to collect.
