The Twins' Bostock was 4th in average that year. Where was he heading into the final day? --Jeff 22:48, 30 May 2008 (EDT)

Bostock was at .32484 and was in contention with a 4-hit day and regression from all 3 above him. He was removed in the 7th having gone 0 for 3. (edited above to reflect having actually done the math -- a 4-5 day could have worked for Bostock)

Bostock didn't play that day - his 0-for-3 came on Oct. 1. That game was played on Oct. 3. See baseball-reference or retrosheet to confirm this is correct.
