Takashi Iwamoto pitched for the Japan Samurai Bears of the independent Golden Baseball League in 2005. He went 1-0 with a 5.27 ERA in 25 relief appearances, allowing 37 hits in 27 1/3 innings. He struck out 15 batters and walked 13.
