Tai-Chu Kuo has been an infielder and outfielder in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. He is the brother of Tai-Yong Kuo and the cousin of Chih-Sheng Lin
Kuo first gained attention in the 2004 World University Championship. He was picked in the draft by the Uni-President Lions and hit .189/.271/.255 as a rookie in 2005. In 2006, he batted .285/.354/.412. He had Tommy John surgery that fall, the first Taiwanese infielder to have that surgery. After the surgery, he was moved to the outfield.
In 2007, Kuo hit .258/.313/.419. He homered in games 2 and 7 of the 2007 Taiwan Series to help the Lions take the title. He followed with a .237/.299/.397 batting line in 2008.
Kuo played for Taiwan in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. He was 0 for 2 with a walk.
