Corner infielder Tae-hyeok Nam signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2009, the first Korean high schooler they signed. He was hitting .314 with 22 homers after 65 games in his high school career to that point. He made his pro debut with the AZL Dodgers that year, going 0 for 3. Promoted to the Ogden Raptors, he went 3 for 9 with five strikeouts.
