[edit] Biographical Information
Pitcher Steve Mintz played pro baseball for a dozen seasons with cups of coffee in the majors in 1995 and 1999. He retired during the 2001 season and became a minor league instructor in the Anaheim Angels organization.
He moved on to the Minnesota Twins organization the next year and spent four seasons as the pitching coach for the GCL Twins. In 2006-2007, he was the pitching coach for the Beloit Snappers and in 2008 he held the same post for the New Britain Rock Cats. He was the pitching coach of the Fort Myers Miracle in 2009-2011.
