3B/1B Steve Livesey was drafted in the 29th round of the 1986 amateur draft by the New York Yankees. Livesey went to college and was drafted again by the Yankees, this time in the 35th round of the 1991 amateur draft. He played in the Yankees chain in 1991 and 1992, then was loaned to the co-op San Bernardino Spirit in 1993 and 1994, but only appeared in 4 games each year in the California League.
