[edit] Biographical Information
Steve Soderstrom was drafted by the New York Mets in the 15th Round (402nd overall) of the 1990 amateur draft. He didn't sign. Then, in 1993, he was drafted by the San Francisco Giants sixth overall in the 1993 amateur draft. He spent three years in the Giants' organization before getting to the Major Leagues.
He was in the Majors in September 1996, winning two games. Afterwards, he pitched in Triple A ball through 2000, going 11-4 in 1998.
He currently resides in Turlock, CA, where he was born and where he went to high school.
