 Biographical Information
In 1989, Stan played for the Bradenton Explorers of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. He hit .281 with 4 homers and 31 RBI in 61 games with the club. Cliburn led the league with most games played at catcher with 58. In 1990 Stan played for the Daytona Beach Explorers of the SPBA and batted .156 in 11 games.
Cliburn was named manager of the Rochester Red Wings in October 2005. His brother was the club's pitching coach, with the pairing lasting from 2006 to 2008; the two had also worked together with the New Britain Rock Cats from 2001 to 2005.
In 2015, he was named manager of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.
