South Carolina League
From BR Bullpen
The South Carolina League was a class D league that played for two seasons, 1907 and 1908, before shutting down.
Normal things caused the quick demise of the league. Small towns,
lack of fan support, that led to a short money supply and the
ability to attract quality players came with that.
The Carolina's were one of this countries early baseball hotbeds and as things went West the ballplayers and teams went the same way.
