The Solingen Alligators are a team in Bundesliga. They won the title in 2006 behind the pitching of André Hughes and Enorbel Márquez to post a staff ERA of 1.80; Kai Gronauer led the offense that season. During the 2008 regular season, they went 27-1 but fell in the semifinals despite the presence of Hughes and Márquez; Gronauer had left for the USA in mid-season after signing with the New York Mets.
