Sho Aranami was a member of the Japanese collegiate All-Stars that played the USA in 2007 and 2008. He did not play in the 2008 World University Championship. After college, he joined Toyota Motors in the industrial leagues. He played for Japan when they won a Gold Medal at the 2009 Asian Championship and remained with the team for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
