The Seguin Toros were the only professional baseball team in the history of Seguin, TX. They were members of the Gulf States League in 1976. After a 20-19 first half, they fell to 9-29 in the second half. Jimmy Smith managed the team, which had no All-Stars and drew 10,106 fans, fewest in the GSL. The team produced no memorable players. The star was Vern Snyder (5-1, 2.41). The club only existed for one year.
